We had a great time last week; not only did Mike Abbott don the working gears (willingly, and with glee!) and we continued some great training for Louie Love-Parata.... but we achieved an excellent load test result while getting some consulting engineers right up close during the fully sustained static load test.

The Revex team achieved a whopping

.... and 3,000kN in tension

And as we adjusted the loads through the SLS phase of the test - and in to the ULS - a crew from Tonkin + Taylor (geotechnical engineering) and Ruamoko Solutions (structural engineering) got right up and close - and asked as many professional (and personal!) questions as they wanted, while viewing the load test curves as they were produced.
