SO WHO WON "THE PADDLE"?
At Revex, we love to reflect on the year that was and recognise our people for the things they did for our clients, for the company, and for their peers. We love to reward people living our values.
So every year we ask our staff to name who they think was the ‘Employee of The Year' and cast a vote with the reasons. The reward is ‘The Paddle’, made by Travis Henri when he had nothing better to do; it's our coveted annual trophy.
Congratulations to our 2024 ‘The Paddle’ winner - Siosifa (Joe) Pikokivaka! Joe has been a leader of our company since he joined way back when. Always working hard. Always doing the extras when required (not when asked). Never walking past bad workmanship. Keeping his team informed. While some have said he sits in silence in his excavator cab with the air conditioning on, he was actually planning 3 moves ahead. And when he says something - people know it's important.... (unless it's a joke and he's then laughing at it himself).
Joe - you had a big 2024 and achieved a lot for our business. You also became a father again. You are well respected by your peers and the clients, the suppliers and subcontractors you work with... keep it up! Well done.
ALWAYS BRING OUR BEST

Also rans:
- Logan... some didn't think he'd survive the first week, but the little man get's amongst it all and took out "Rookie of the Year".
- Moses... worked hard, and travelled wherever the jobs needed him to go. The man is growing his voice and confidence - and the work he does reflects it. He's also good at Sumo Wrestling.
- Jared... did what he did last year - but it wasn't enough! Fastest man in the company, too!
- Rodney... charity mention for sending late night emails.
- Travis... Has adapted into plant management (he's practically a mechanic), but is always looking out for his people, and moving the company forward. While a great superintendent, his (ocean) skippering skills need work.
